11.2mm Glue Sticks for Crafts: UAE Wholesale Guide

Glue sticks are repeat-purchase workshop supplies: once a compatible glue gun is in regular use, retailers, decorators, schools and craft businesses need dependable replenishment. The 11.2 mm × 30 cm glue stick (1105/ECI) is an active Al Bastaki handicraft product with clearly stated dimensions, making it easier for UAE and GCC buyers to check fit before ordering.

1105/ECI glue stick: verified specifications

The live Shopify catalogue lists this product as GLUE STICK:11.2MMX30CM (1105/ECI).

• Catalogue category: Handicraft / Glues and Glue Guns / Glue Sticks

The product page does not state the adhesive formulation, colour, operating temperature, pack quantity or approved substrates. Buyers should confirm any requirement that depends on those details instead of assuming compatibility from size alone.

Why diameter matters when buying glue sticks

The most important first check is the glue gun’s accepted stick diameter. An 11.2 mm stick should only be ordered for equipment whose manufacturer instructions accept that diameter. A stick that is too wide may not feed into the tool, while one that is too narrow may not advance correctly.

Length is mainly a replenishment and handling consideration. At 30 cm, 1105/ECI has a clearly specified length that buyers can compare with their storage, packaging and workstation requirements. The exact combination of 11.2 mm × 30 cm should appear on internal product labels and purchase orders.

Practical uses for craft and display businesses

When paired with compatible equipment and used on suitable materials, glue sticks can support a range of quick assembly jobs. Potential users include:

• artificial-flower and decorative-arrangement workshops;
• gift-wrapping and hamper-preparation counters;
• event-decoration and display teams;
• model-making and general craft workshops;
• school art departments and supervised activity programmes;
• craft retailers selling replacement consumables.

Bond performance varies by adhesive formulation, surface and operating conditions. Test the actual materials before starting production, especially where appearance, load or long-term holding strength matters. Do not describe the product as suitable for a specific substrate unless that use has been confirmed.

Buying guidance for UAE wholesalers and retailers

Check the glue gun before ordering

Read the equipment label or manual and verify the required stick diameter. Do not rely only on the gun’s visual size. If several glue-gun models are used across a workshop or school, record the compatible consumable beside each tool.

Use the exact article and SKU

Reference 1105/ECI and SKU 1111728581179. Al Bastaki also carries a separate 7.4 mm × 30 cm glue stick, so using the exact reference helps prevent a diameter mix-up during ordering and picking.

Estimate consumption by workstation

Track how many sticks each active workstation uses during a normal week. Multiply that figure by the number of workstations, then add a sensible buffer for busy periods. This produces a more useful reorder level than purchasing an arbitrary quantity.

Store and label sizes separately

Keep different diameters in clearly labelled bins. Write both diameter and article number on shelf labels so workshop staff do not load the wrong size. Store the product according to supplier instructions and protect it from contamination or distortion.

Timely demand from schools and workshops

The UAE Ministry of Education lists 31 August 2026 as the start of the 2026–2027 academic year for students. Early September is therefore a practical time for school suppliers, activity providers and craft retailers to check consumable stock. Any use by students should be properly supervised, and glue guns must be operated according to the equipment manufacturer’s safety instructions.

Wholesale stock considerations

Shopify recorded 10,045 units for 1105/ECI when this article was prepared. That makes it one of the stronger-stocked handicraft consumables reviewed in the catalogue, but inventory changes as orders are processed. Confirm current stock, pack format and required quantity before committing to a promotion, institutional order or GCC shipment.
